Resources / FAQs

1. What does STEALTH® do?

STEALTH® designs, engineers and furnishes concealment screening systems for the wireless industry. Our architecturally sound and aesthetically pleasing systems are specifically designed to assist in receiving zoning and building owner approvals for infrastructure build out with minimal reduction to the system's performance.

2. What is “concealment”?

Concealment is the process of screening, hiding, or “camouflaging” antennas. It can be used to satisfy a city or building owner’s need to minimize the visual affect of an antenna installation by disguising it as flagpole, a rooftop parapet, or any other conceivable design that helps the site blend visually into its environment.

3. What is a StealthSkin™ V panel?

StealthSkin™ V panels are RF (Radio Frequency) transparent panels. StealthSkin™ V flat and corner panels are available in a variety of sizes and can be painted to match any requested color or even a mirrored glass appearance. A sprayed stucco texture, a troweled stucco texture, a custom matched brick texture, or virtually any common architectural feature can also be applied to StealthSkin™ V panels. STEALTH® uses a polyurethane industrial paint on all of our StealthSkin™ V panels. For panels that require stucco, brick or another custom texture, we use a high quality 100% textured acrylic paint. All STEALTH® panels have been RF tested. Test results are available upon request. Structural tests were conducted on StealthSkin™ V panels and results proved that the panels with a 10' vertical span could withstand a wind load of over 110 psf without failure. A pressure of 110 psf is equivalent to a wind load of over 200 mph. With a 5' vertical span, the panels were tested up to 306 psf without panel failure. By modifying some connections, StealthSkin™ V panels can withstand even higher wind loads.Signal loss on StealthSkinTM V panels can vary, but you can expect less than 0.5 dB for Cellular (800-900 MHz) and PCS (1.8-2.0 GHz) frequencies. Specific design criteria and signal loss information is available upon request.

4. What other types of concealment panels are available?
